The all-rounder shares the frame and the extremely comfortable riding position with its more trail-oriented mountain bike sibling, the FOCUS THRON². However, everything beyond that screams SUV. Equipped with an integrated rear light with brake light function, the FOCUS THRON² 6.7 EQP is as stylish as it is practical. A top load carrier & pannier rack, fenders, a front light with high beam and a kickstand are also perfectly integrated into the overall concept of the bike.Does your mobile phone need extra juice? Then there is a USB-C port in the top tube. The 29″ bike is available with either a 600 Wh or an 800 Wh battery. Both batteries fit the frame with only a different down tube cover – no modification needed. The features of the Focus Thron²
Ultimate grip and comfort
The suspension of the THRON² is fully optimized for long and mountainous tours. As if on a magic carpet, all bumps are simply ironed away downhill by the absorbent suspension. The suspension travel is released in a controlled and smooth manner. Uphill, long chainstays ensure that the front wheel is literally sucked to the ground. Together with the slack seat angle and a high front end, this creates the most comfortable riding position in the FOCUS E-MTB portfolio.
Maximum safety with Bosch ABS
Not just for cars: The Bosch ABS system facilitates safe braking on the THRON² 6.9 ABS and THRON² 6.8 ABS models. This brings two decisive advantages when braking: Slipping front wheels and going over the handlebars are now a thing of the past. Sensors monitor the front wheel speed. If things get dicey and the front wheel threatens to lock, the ABS regulates the brake pressure. This provides a significant increase in control, especially on loose gravel and in wet conditions. In addition to the safety feature, the ABS also has a trail mode. This adapts the brake support more quickly to changes in the surface and is more responsive. This has a noticeable effect on the fun of riding and maneuvering on the trail – and thus ensures more self-confidence on the trail. All THRON² models have 4-piston brakes and 203 mm brake discs so that the ABS system can also work with plenty of braking power.
Premium look and feel
Polished and smoothed weld seams give the THRON² a chic carbon look. Added to this are the semi-integrated rear shock and the C.I.S 2.0 stem with integrated cable routing. Two-tone metallic paintwork with a painted main link complete the premium look of the THRON². We have also thought of all the small but fine details. The particularly thick, bolted chainstay protector makes the bike quieter than ever. The motor cover is particularly robust. But the THRON² has so much ground clearance anyway that our bike testers had difficulty finding big enough steps to test it at the limit. And the specially designed cover for the charging socket on the seat tube doesn’t flutter, but snaps into place turned to the side when you’re riding with the range extender. But that’s not all: the specially designed motor nut and the cadence magnet hidden in the rim are inconspicuous and completely invisible from the outside.
A fully connected bike
Navigate? Track your route? Check how much range is left in the electric tank? You can do all of this and more effortlessly on your display with the smart THRON². With a large display, the LED remote (except for the THRON² 6.7) and the Bosch Flow app, you are fully connected and have all the important things in view. The USB-C port on the top tube transforms the bike’s battery into a huge power bank for external devices. The integrated Apple Airtag or Chipolo mount under the lockable battery is also smart. There is also a dedicated space in the motor cover for the Bosch ConnectModule. It is available as a retrofit solution from specialist dealers. With a paid subscription, you can access all additional premium services from Bosch. These include improved theft protection, tracking, alarms and theft reports for emergencies.
E-MTB for endless trail tours
Four possible battery capacities of up to 1050 Wh – in all frame sizes. With the THRON², you can choose between the compact 600 Wh battery or the larger 800 Wh battery. In combination with the PowerMore 250 Wh range extender, this gives you maximum flexibility. The THRON² effortlessly reaches new heights without running out of juice. You can quickly switch between the batteries by simply “tipping” the batteries out of the down tube. Apart from the second battery, this only requires a different down tube cover. There is also a matching Bosch bottle cage for mounting the Range Extender.

Ready for everyday life (if you want it)
The THRON² really comes into its own on steep Alpine climbs and fun flow trails. But if you also want to use it as a one-bike solution for everyday use, everything has been thought of. The THRON² is EQP-ready. This means that if you want to retrofit a stand, pannier rack and perfectly fitting mudguards, these are available as retrofit solutions from specialist dealers. If this part is of particular interest to you, you should check out the following THRON² EQP. You should also be familiar with this game changer: ABUS locks for the battery ensure that – thanks to the Key-ID – keyed alike U-locks or folding locks can be ordered. This means that you can lock everything around the THRON² with just one key. No front light is fitted as standard, but the Thron² EQP is available. However, the C.I.S 2.0 stem with integrated light holder and a pre-routed light cable allow you to retrofit your preferred front light in no time at all. If you want to retrofit a front light, the pre-routed light cable is already in the down tube. It can be found in the upper part of the down tube behind the battery.

Bosch Drive Unit Performance Line CX Motor Generation 5
The Performance Line CX Gen.5 (BDU384Y) motor takes riding dynamics and agility to a new level. It is powerful, light and quiet. Ten years of experience and countless trail rides around the world have gone into its further development. The Performance Line CX motor combines power, dynamics, efficiency and reach. 85-600-340: 85Nm max. torque, 600W max. motor power, 340% max. support factor. These values represent the ideal balance between performance and riding pleasure in relation to wear and tear and range.
Powerful uphill
The maximum torque of 85 Nm has a noticeable effect on your riding performance when eMountain biking. The powerful motor enables powerful acceleration after tight bends and obstacles at a low cadence and simplifies hill starts. For fast sprints, the motor also supports you at high cadences.
Intuitive handling
One mode for more focus: The eMTB mode, specially designed for sporty use, gives you optimum control and intuitive handling, as you don’t have to switch between the different riding modes as often. With this clever eMTB mode function, technical passages can be ridden with confidence and obstacles such as roots and thick branches can be easily overcome with targeted pedal pressure using the Extended Boost. The Performance Line CX drive unit ensures even more riding fun and a flow experience that sets new standards.

Sporty and economical
Sporty riding on a trekking bike or eMTB: With the Tour+ riding mode of the Bosch Performance Line CX, the focus is always on riding enjoyment. It eliminates the need to switch between support modes so that you can concentrate fully on eBiking. With Tour+ mode, you pedal harder on flat stretches than in Tour mode and are more sporty on the road – the riding mode therefore saves power and extends your radius – for even more riding fun! Trail or asphalt – Tour+ mode always suits you. Because it constantly adapts to you. Sensors on the motor measure important riding data more than 1,000 times per second, from which the Tour+ mode derives the optimum support for you. It regulates the additional power so sensitively that you not only get a natural riding experience, but also a greater range with greater power input.
Individual riding experience
The available riding modes can be individually set in the eBike Flow app so that the eBike’s riding characteristics match your own riding style or the route you have chosen. The level of assistance, dynamics, maximum speed and maximum torque of the drive can thus be flexibly adjusted to your personal needs and requirements. Intensive training or an extended eBike tour – the riding modes always offer you the right support and enable even more riding enjoyment.

Bosch has reinterpreted and improved the signals from the sensors. Inertial sensors (IMU), cadence sensor, torque sensor. The new motor does exactly what you want – sensitive, controlled and direct. That’s a natural riding experience
eMTB mode and Extended Boost
You don’t need any other riding mode to get into the uphill flow. Because that’s what Bosch has developed it for. The eMTB mode reacts progressively to you and recognizes in a flash how much power you want based on your pedal pressure – dynamically, with maximum traction and always in control. With the integrated Extended Boost, all it takes is a targeted kick on the pedal and the Drive Unit pushes you effortlessly over steps and stones.
Push assist and hill start assist
Get to your destination: Helpful functions take the weight off your eMTB when you need to stop in tricky sections. With the push assist, you can easily push your eMTB, while the Drive Unit automatically adjusts the pushing speed to the gradient and surface. In addition, the hill start assist enables a controlled and high-traction start, even on steep terrain. Hill Hold is active in both cases: your eMTB stays in place and does not roll back unexpectedly.
Compatible with Bosch eBike ABS Pro
Triumph over the trail: Bosch has developed the eBike Pro for outstanding performance. ABS Pro is ideal for professional eBikers: designed for fast, sporty downhill riding and braking. You can make full use of your braking skills and still feel how the system increases performance.
Compatible with eShift from TRP
Thanks to the electric shifting solution, you can ride to the trail with maximum relaxation and maximum performance on the trail. You can decide whether eShift with TRP should shift automatically for you or whether you want to change gear yourself on varied terrain with fast maneuvers – simply at the touch of a button. With eShift, gear changes are efficient and precise.
Optional PowerMore 250 range extender
Extend the range and enjoy even longer trail fun with the water bottle-sized energy reserve. Compact and 1.5 kilograms in weight, the range extender can be easily attached to the water bottle holder. Individual riding modes
A natural riding experience is individual – with the eBike Flow app, you can create a riding mode to suit your needs. Record activities
Record your tour and fitness data as soon as you set off. For iPhone users, Activity Tracking also synchronizes all data automatically with Apple Health if desired. If you take a break, the recording stops automatically.
Individualize riding modes
Customize the riding mode exactly to your needs: You can fine-tune the Eco, Tour, Sport and Turbo riding modes so that they offer you more support or consume less power.

Bosch Purion 200 Remote with integrated 1.6″ color display
Developed with ergonomics experts
Purion 200 is mounted on the left-hand side of the handlebar, close to the thumb. Thanks to its curved shape, the combination of control unit and display fits beautifully on the handlebars. If the plus and minus buttons are aligned correctly – i.e. almost vertically – this means more comfort for you when operating the system and faster reading of the riding data. You can control your eBike with just one thumb movement and change the riding mode or the display, for example. We developed Purion 200 together with the ergonomics experts from SQlab to achieve the optimum combination of functionality, comfort and design.
Optimum readability
A high resolution, greater color depth, a clear structure and easy-to-understand symbols ensure that you can quickly read and understand the information on Purion 200. The integrated ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the brightness of the display depending on the ambient light. This makes it very easy to read even in sunshine and darkness.
Powerful display combinations
If you want more information or a larger display for even better readability, you can use another display in addition to Purion 200: Have Kiox 300 or Kiox 500 fitted by a specialist dealer or use your smartphone as a second display using SmartphoneGrip and the eBike Flow app. The additional new main display is controlled via the Purion 200 buttons. Purion 200 continues to show you the information that was last selected: For example, you can display the current speed on Purion 200 while your main display navigates you.
Wide range of functions
Purion 200 offers numerous functions to help you ride and arrive better. In addition to basic functions such as switching your eBike and lights on and off, you can also activate the smart push-assist function using the Purion 200 buttons, for example, to make it easier to push your eBike when walking. At the touch of a button, you can change the display in a matter of seconds and simply select the information that is important to you at the moment: for example, keep an eye on the remaining range, see how far you have already ridden or check your cadence.
Intelligently connected
Five buttons, one display and lots of options: Purion 200 is networked in the smart system and connects the eBike to the eBike Flow app. This provides you with digital functions that you can easily activate and use via the app – e.g. for more theft protection, recording your activities or the option of adapting riding modes to your needs. In addition, Purion 200 is the interface for transferring updates to your eBike. So it always stays up to date.
