When CUBE set out to build the ultimate lightweight trail bike, they began with the best-in-class C:68X® carbon lay-up. With slender tube profiles, fastidious design and exhaustive testing, they finished with a frame that weighs around 1600g. Technologies

FSP4-Link
Suspension kinematics is vital to your bike’s performance. At CUBE they use the FSP 4-Link for all their full suspension bikes, with a chainstay pivot and four bar suspension design. It’s a proven method for creating active rear wheel travel independent of pedalling or braking forces. CUBE has carefully refine pivot placement for each bike depending on its intended use, so you can be sure of outstanding suspension performance on the trail.

Advanced Twin Mold
CUBE’s Advanced Twin Mold process for the C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames uses two precisely manufactured forms. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
