The Santa Cruz Bullit in detail
The Bullit is designed for tackling the steepest and deepest of trails in both directions. Imagine the kinds of rooty, rocky, horror fests usually reserved for our biggest hitting bikes like the Nomad and Megatower. Then imagine what lies beyond that.
Where the Heckler’s priority is agility and playful handling, the Bullit takes a more no limits approach. 170mm travel, a 38mm fork and DoubleDown tires reflect the smashability of this platform. This is a bike for riders who seek V10 level terrain that’s out of range of any chairlift or shuttle road.
It was actually the Santa Cruz Syndicate team’s success on their mixed wheel DH race bikes that made us consider the same format for the Bullit. Santa Cruz learned from them that mixed wheels provide the confidence at speed of a 29er with the more spritely handling characteristics and maneuverability of a 27.5-inch rear wheel. And for an e-bike, it also means we can dictate exactly how long (or short) we want to make the chainstays to balance climbing traction and handling. The added butt clearance on super steep stuff is just another bonus.
Lifetime Frame Warranty
Santa Cruz Bicycles will repair or replace at its option any frame made by Santa Cruz Bicycles it determines to be defective in materials or workmanship. The warranty will be in effect for the lifetime of the frame and is available only to the original owner. Notwithstanding the foregoing, frames purchased prior to May 1, 2015 are covered under the previously-existing warranty for five years from the original date of purchase. In the event of a non-warranty situation, Santa Cruz Bicycles will make replacement parts available to the original owner at a reduced charge for the applicable warranty period described above.*
Lifetime Reserve Carbon Wheels Warranty
Santa Cruz Bicycles will repair or replace at its option any Reserve rim made by Santa Cruz Bicycles that is damaged or destroyed by riding. The warranty will be in effect for the lifetime of the rim and is available only to the original owner.*

The call of gravity
The Bullit is an e-bike that knows no limits. With its downhill-oriented geometry, plenty of suspension travel and robust components, it is made for trails where even the DH bike feels at home.
Upwards with downhill performance
If gravity attracts you with its riding fun and you are looking for support for the climb, then the Bullit is your bike. It has the power of the Bosch Performance Line CX motor to take you to the wildest trails. The Bullit is built for the toughest terrain and is the closest thing to the dream of owning both a downhill bike and your own chairlift.
Mixed Wheel
The mixed wheel is also known as ‘mullet’. This is when a 29-inch wheel is used for the front wheel and a 27.5-inch is used on the rear. The leading 29-inch wheel creates a large contact patch that generates a lot of traction and lowers the rollover resistance. While the smaller diameter rear wheel gives more butt clearance (a factor for some shorter limbed riders) and creates a quicker handling bike. The result is a bike that still feels composed like a 29er but requires less input energy to lean the bike over or place the rear wheel where necessary.

Bosch Drive Unit Performance Line CX Motor Generation 5
The Performance Line CX Gen.5 (BDU384Y) motor takes riding dynamics and agility to a new level. It is powerful, light and quiet. Ten years of experience and countless trail rides around the world have gone into its further development. The Performance Line CX motor combines power, dynamics, efficiency and reach. 85-600-340: 85Nm max. torque, 600W max. motor power, 340% max. support factor. These values represent the ideal balance between performance and riding pleasure in relation to wear and tear and range.
Powerful uphill
The maximum torque of 85 Nm has a noticeable effect on your riding performance when eMountain biking. The powerful motor enables powerful acceleration after tight bends and obstacles at a low cadence and simplifies hill starts. For fast sprints, the motor also supports you at high cadences.
Intuitive handling
One mode for more focus: The eMTB mode, specially designed for sporty use, gives you optimum control and intuitive handling, as you don’t have to switch between the different riding modes as often. With this clever eMTB mode function, technical passages can be ridden with confidence and obstacles such as roots and thick branches can be easily overcome with targeted pedal pressure using the Extended Boost. The Performance Line CX drive unit ensures even more riding fun and a flow experience that sets new standards.

Individual riding experience

The eMTB mode reacts progressively to you and recognizes in a flash how much power you want based on your pedal pressure – dynamically, with maximum traction and always in control. With the integrated Extended Boost, all it takes is a targeted kick on the pedal and the Drive Unit pushes you effortlessly over steps and stones.
Push assist and hill start assist
Get to your destination: Helpful functions take the weight off your eMTB when you need to stop in tricky sections. With the push assist, you can easily push your eMTB, while the Drive Unit automatically adjusts the pushing speed to the gradient and surface. In addition, the hill start assist enables a controlled and high-traction start, even on steep terrain. Hill Hold is active in both cases: your eMTB stays in place and does not roll back unexpectedly.

The System Controller is the control unit for eBikes with the smart system, reduced to the essentials. The deliberately limited number of functions and information facilitates a quick overview and is not distracting while riding. The System Controller is seamlessly integrated into the top tube – this means that the already robust companion is additionally protected, is barely noticeable and is perfect for sporty tours and design-oriented eBike fans.

Mini Remote
As an additional operating unit, the Mini Remote supplements the System Controller, extends the range of functions and enables safe operation. Like all Bosch PowerTubes, the PowerTube 600 / 800 is perfectly integrated into the frame. An attractive eBike design and high capacity – a combination without compromise. A new, lighter housing has been used for the battery. Provided the eBike manufacturer has prepared the eBike for this, it can be easily replaced – for more or less range.
