Technologies

Mahle X35 drive unit
The Mahle X35 drive unit has a max torque of 40Nm and is placed in the rear hub together with a 250Wh battery located in the down tube. Thanks to this rear hub location of the motor, the bike keeps its natural riding feeling and handling, with zero drag. The x35 is quiet and offers three riding modes, which you easily shift through the minimalistic remote on the top tube. The system gives assistance up to 25km/h, after which it becomes a regular gravel bike, and the Mahle technology ensures a natural feeling when the motor starts to assist again.

Mahle IX250
The x35 system comes with a 250Wh battery, the technology of the battery capacity ensures an ideal weight and efficiency ratio. The low weight and neat design of the battery enables a discrete implementation into the frame while giving enough watts for a full day on the bike. The battery is fully charges in only three hours and has a range of around 80km in ECO-mode. For those with range anxiety, you can add a range extender which gives an additionaly 208Wh.

Mahle IWOC ONE controller
The discrete iWoc ONE display from Mahle doesn’t show more than needed. With the minimalist LED-button you can keep track of the riding mode and battery level by the colour and intensity of the ring. If you want to know more about your ride, the Mahle X35 system is compatible with ANT+, allowing you to easily connect the bike with your your bike computer, or use the Mahle App to get all the stats right in your phone.

My Smartbike app
The Mahle My SmartBike app keeps you up to date on everything to do with your bike. You can easily track your ride, perform system updates within minutes and view the status of your bike. Here you can also adjust the motor and enter how you like the support and pedal response. It can be easily integrated with recorded Strava activities, which can be viewed in the app.

Mahle Range Extender
The 250Wh battery gives a range of approximately 80 km if you’re riding in ECO-mode. However, for those with range anxiety, the Speedster is compatible with a range extender of 208Wh, which gives you a total of 458Wh of battery and plenty of range for longer tours.
